I would try Zen with uBlock Origin first, but if you're like me and need to use something Chrome-based for certain web apps that don't support Firefox, then Brave with all the crypto crap disabled is pretty much the only option

what about sm like vivaldi? or ungoogled chromium. i've heard those were good too

I have generally similar concerns- however I could not afford if browsers cost money too!

Should've mentioned why I feel chained to Brave- the Manifest V3 shit crippled uBlock on Chrome, so I just kinda lean on the custom adblocker inside Brave and hope for the best. I don't believe there's a Chrome fork that still supports Manifest V3

Many chromium browsers still support v2, including brave. I think ungoogled chromium should support it

this whole thing was so dumb, neocities has been down so many times in my 2 years using this site. this didn't feel any different and from how people were acting you'd think it was gone forever

According to Neocities' Bluesky the domain got suspended by Namecheap because of a court order from India's capital which they don't operate in over a sports streaming website that was on a different domain which wasn't related to Neocities at all, which is just stupid

Yeah it's so tough having to be ready with different arguments and symptoms/evidence to shoot down the doc playing the anxiety card. Feels like I'm on trial and I have to be a lawyer. I guess I'm lucky I finally found a diagnosis that makes sense instead of wondering what worse shit could be happening

The doctors around here don't usually say things like that. Instead, their go-to solution is to immediately put you on an IV drip, or give you vitamin supplements and a whole bunch of other medications
