Finished playing the PC RPG, Xanadu Next. Great game, highly recommend. Gonna start Xenogears on the PS1 next. Probably won't be doing a lot of website updates other than updating my media log and miniblog. I'm trying to use my free time to consume as much media (games, movies, anime, books, etc.) as I can.

Xenogears is one of my faves EVER on the PS1…. can’t wait to check your thoughts on it!! (I’m currently playing Xenosaga since I never did the xenojump to ps2 there!)

Logged some recently finished media: Bleach, Vol. 1, Godzilla: Final Wars, and Bomberman Quest on the GBC. Also just started playing the PS1 game, Brave Fencer Musashi, on my Retroid Pocket Nova. Just watched a little gem of a movie, Grimm Douwa: Kin no Tori (1987). Cannot recommend it enough. Such a delight.

Saw Laputa: Castle in the Sky with Liz at the local Regal. It wasn't my first Ghibli film--that was Kiki when I was five--but it was the movie that made me fall in love with Studio Ghibli. It's still one of their best. An incredible masterpiece that would represent a peak for any other studio.
