My favorite pencil memory is when I lent a stub of a pencil to a friend in high school. He sharpened it real good and gave it back to me the next day. During the handoff, though, it stabbed me in the palm and stuck there. I remember staring at it for a moment before realizing that I should panic; then I shook it out. I still have a gray mark there. Pencil tattooed me.

lol that reminds me of a time when i dropped a pencil on the floor in my room but my hands were full of whatever else i was carrying so i didnt stop to pick it up. ended up totally forgetting about it but was rudely reminded of it when my bare foot found it. it jabbed right into the side knuckle part of my big toe and i had to pull it out. it hurt for a few days but i had the pencil mark for several years

oh my lil brother also has a pencil tattoo! when we were little, doing homework together, i was tapping my pencil (tip down) on the table and he was tapping his palm on top of the end of the pencil. i turned the pencil around, thinking it was funny but also he was tapping much slower and i thought he would surely have time to stop. well he didnt see it and got stabbed......

I have a pencil palm tattoo, too. I was trying to get a pencil out of my desk in second grade and it must have been jammed in a spot because it suddenly yanked free and stabbed me right in the middle of the palm. I don't think I even told my parents, for whatever reason. Should we start some kind of gang?
