what you think could be overthinking to hide parts of yourself could also be an attempt to be concise and accurate in order to put your best and clearest self forward. i think we all do that whenever we speak or write anything and it's perfectly natural. i admire your honestly and desire to open up, that's a step a lot of us don't get to either, even the desire.

welcome back ! it's hard to avoid being perceived, even on the internet where anonymity is guaranteed, because everyone is somewhat "marked." it's on the internet only that i can test out different "marks" and see how it makes me feel, and not whether i'd receive scrutiny.

Guh, what a concise way of framing a similar way I feel. I want to post more and be specific in what I share, but at the same time I can very easily doxx myself - which then limits how much detail I want to share which then defeats the purpose of actually curating a space that is just mine. Comes down to how much I actually care how I'm perceived, especially IRL and the reflection that my opinions are half baked. Thx
