i'm not really into drawing but i've seen a million of these posts and what i can remember is:
avoid giving them "donut lips"
remember black people have dark skin but not black, try to make it more brown than gray or pure black
also remember their soles and palms are lighter than the rest of the skin
don't just make a white person with black skin, if that makes sense? this varies from person by person
try giving them different hair types? not all black people 4c hair (again this varies person by person bloodline by bloodline) but a lot of them have at least coily hair
in general try not leaning too much into 50s racial stereotypes
if you use tumblr, id recommend checking out @creatingblackcharacters! the blog's ran by a poc and talks about not only how to draw poc but also how to avoid common racialized characterizations, if you do plan to make a character of color :)
