yeah its kinda growing on me xD we might be getting the special edition console and the game when it gets available here. i really hope that first trailer just wasnt that polished yet but i'm still bummed that it looks like a 1:1 remake. i hope the game surprises me lol

A peak at the ongoing font work... (make sure to view at fullsize). My hope is to share this work to accurately capture the rasterized identity of each typeface, rather than seeing one font scaled improperly across the internet (MS Sans Serif 11px being the biggest offender, here shown at 13px).

@brachypelmide I used fontTools primarily and Pillow (PIL). In the past I had used fontforge, but this suggested a bit more of a batch process. Hand-editing each glyph...is why this work probably hasn't been done to this scale. FontForge would have made nice-looking outline fonts that approximate the raster but this pipeline makes fonts that are the raster.

I was genuinely interested in your work, and just wanted you to know that users will leak their information into your password field because of your design decisions. Patch it, dont patch it, whatever.
Your personal perception of one's text is a reflection of your own internal state. I speak objectively and factually, albeit flagrantly. You asked, I answered. Any interpretation of emotion or intent is purely on you. I have more important things to worry about than perceptions.
Let them leak. I laugh every time someone tells me they don't understand web security by giving me their sensitive passwords.
