i love this! i made some cards with my website on them and put them in coffee shops around town just to see if anyone would find my site that way, but i ended up giving some people the cards at a show recently just so they'd have a way to contact me and the response was really nice! they thought it was cool haha. i think you're right, this should be something people do socially not just for "biz"
i've been thinking about the same idea for awhile, and it sounds super fun! i was thinking of a similar concept; putting up posters in the city asking for stuff like movie/music reccomendations. it's a little more anonymous but adds some much needed connection in a very isolated world :)
Like Victorian calling cards! A couple weeks ago I was looking up how much it would cost to get cards printed because I have been in the position of wanting to hand out contact info.
