Cut my rss feed aggregator's execution time dramatically. Turned out I was doing some things foolishly, and now I am not anymore.

dude, i want to implement a dialogue area in my site aswell but I can't figure it out for the life of me, congrats on your forest page i'm so impressed!!!!

Thank you! The dialogue system was something I made in undergrad, and it became a minor fixation of mine throughout my grad program... I kind of want to make a GUI editor for it, since the current way I have to input lines is still a bit clunky, although it is very formulaic.

I'm struggling to figure out how to balance the variable sized blocks of my RSS feed display across multiple columns. I have added a Simplified Heuristic Evaluation that estimates the height of each block to balance the columns (I add up the characters and add an arbitrary number for each occurrence of "img"). It... kind of works.
