I used to play Magic the Gathering with the family. It was fun! My mom-in-law would act like a sweet little old confused lady, ask my son about something on the cards and then wallop people to death with her red Shivan dragons. Good times!
Oh, and also, glad to hear of another parent whose game philosophy with their children was no mercy. I *never* threw a game with my son. If he didn't win then he had to "git gud, scrub."
