Joseph is better than I expected. It's by no means "good", but there's nothing glaringly wrong with it. Well, other than the obvious that it just...I don't have words for it, but it sounds incompetent. It's so obvious that Ronnie's vocals aren't up to snuff. Other than that, it makes me feel absolutely nothing.

Well, there is unfortunately a new Falling In Reverse song. I was hoping they were dead on account of the total lack of activity and how there's no way they're making money. At least it keeps the little bastard away from Dying Is Your Latest Fashion.

There's no way this can be good, so the question is what kind of bad it is. Ronald is no longer physically capable of hitting any meaningful vocal range, so even if he fixed his...him, God Is A Weapon is the best he can do. It'll be somewhere in a range from "just bland" to "Bad Girls Club level vile", "active fascism", and/or "so poorly mixed as to be physically painful".

you know, I don't think I actually want to do more "serious" commissions and list myself on the databases and shit, because art and other website adjacent stuff is kinda the only thing I do that's just for me and I don't want to lose that peace and not overexamining it. I'm open to the idea casually, feel free to email, but I think that'll be where it stops.

I'm not allowed to share specifics yet, but I've been freaking out about commissions and money and whatnot lately because of some bad news I got about the long term part time job I've had since 2017. So if you wanted to know why it keeps coming up, that's it.

Text review is up on /musicscene/fir_misc. SAASP video is recorded but probably won't get onto the site and PeerTube until tomorrow because it needs to be compressed and such and I need a drink. There's no embedded audio with the text review yet; I'll add it later.
Popular Monster (2024) and Ronald disgusted me and pissed me off, but at least they made me feel SOMETHING. There was something to exert cognitive effort on. This one, like God Is A Weapon, just has...nothing.
