ok all compressing images preserving quality does is reduce the total site size from 2.5 gb to 1.6, so I might as well keep them as is. the files ain't that big I've just got a lot of them. I could do more aggressive, lossier compression, but I also consider this website an archive for me of my most important work so I want to maintain quality for my art / art I've received and my CD booklet scans.
