man, i know League of Legends has That reputation, but they're genuinely one of the nicest communities I've been in as an artist... I've been sharing wips of my shrine page with them and everyone has not only been really enthusiastic about it but they also want to contribute and have been helping me find info for it and aughhhh I'm so overwhelmed by how nice everyone is

LoL has a reputation of being a mediocre game to anyone with taste. I've never met a bad LoL player. My best friend IRL knows how much I dislike that he plays it and he doesn't care: He's awesome.

Can confirm that is how my relationship was for a bit, but right now I actually actively enjoy playing it which is surreal to me!
Then again, me having such a long last hyperfixation on one of the most niche characters in the game did help me stay invested x)
