also i genuinely think amityville backrooms had a better concept than the real backrooms movie, like genuinely. the movie itself may not be very good but i think the idea of the movie being a hour-long one man show about a man trapped in one single room in the backrooms going insane sounds genuinely really good if executed properly. kind of like jeanne dielmann or perharps twelve angry men but it's one dude
also the backrooms movie kind of failed the landing. the first half was so so fucking good. and then SHE crossed that damn border and it all went downhill. like i genuinely do like the idea that the true monster in the backrooms are all in your head, but then. that fucking captain shows up and there's a fuckass chase scene. like okay man. also not enough found footage. and since im already spekaing about movies,

i watched Obession the day after the backrooms and .. it was so dogshit. so dogshit i had to walk out of the showing. like i get what they were going for, and having the movie follow the villain himself like that is interesting, but i feel like the IDEA of the movie is better than the movie itself. dogshittttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
