I hope everyone who is older or has older relatives takes a look at this blog post and starts implementing some of your suggestions, either for themselves in the future or their elder family members. They are SO good! I have an older relative who gets very defensive whenever something "goes wrong" with her computer and I highly suspect increasing cognitive decline to be the main driver of her problems.
