with catbox being blocked in the uk (and possibly australia and aotearoa) that means NONE of my music is accessible to anyone living there. i dont know of any other filehost for my MP3's. suggestions? (and ffs don't say soundcloud)

i use filegarden to host the .mp3s i have on my site, but idk if that might get the nuke too, and filegarden is more unstable with being up

im a little wary of filegarden since they dont appear to have any terms of use. catbox at least straight up says they won't give uploaded files to AI companies.

i wish there were other video site alternatives like there’s art sites that ARE actually used, but i never see other video makers cross posting to other places (cause god i wanna ditch it, i like sharing fun videos but its All just in a singular place 99% of the time)

Font-end alternatives are ok I guess but I wish there was a way to embed too. Unless there is and I haven't done any research on it really.

i'm unsure if videos on archive.org can be embedded but i remember hearing they can be. a lyricist i follow has also set up shop on odysee.com due to YouTube's sins, so i'm considering trying that one out

tbph im glad im not on page 1 of special sauce anymore. i think i was attracting too many "follow-for-follow" blank accounts trying to manipulate the numbers. plus theres something subliminal about being on page 1; you want to STAY on page 1, so you edit superfluously. at least i do.

interesting. i never was on that page, but i found myself on it now, which would suggest it's not the first time. and yet i don't get this kind of blank follow-for-follows almost ever. Wonder what's up with that

Usually my site lands briefly on page 1 a day or 2 after I update. Gives me more visibility but it still doesn't feel like a "numbers game" so I'm chill w it.
