Did your diamond painting come with a plastic cover sheet? You can just peel back a part of the sheet, pin it down with some sort of weight, and work on it in sections. When you're done working, roll the sheet back over the painting. As you complete sections you can trim the sheet with a knife or scissors.

truthfully i havent unpacked the painting itself to check, i'd heavily assume yes, its more the 'storing it away while i wait to have time to paint it again' that's the part im unsure about (as in how the canvas would handle being rolled up with diamonds on it). mostly since i have no flat surface to keep it on temporarily

Canvases are safe to roll drill-side out for temp storage :) If you roll drill-side in, the drills can chafe against each other and pop off.

ok, also fixed my template pages so that previews actually LEAD to the previews again (i had them hosted directly on my site before, but i made them pages on github to be viewed + the source code is there)

omg i should remake the old dragonadopters page as a shrine/funsies pageā¦ god i miss that game even tho you couldnāt really do Anything on it (and pixpets exists now as a kinda āsuccessorā to it)

I haven't figured out how to do one personally, but you could possibly experiment with Quartz? https://quartz.jzhao.xyz/ It's an obsidian vault website generator. Not as easily customizable as 11ty, but it might work for a few pages. They updated recently with a feature of encrypted pages.
hmm, might not fit my usecase but ill save that into a lil hole somewhere... there's actually 2 plugins for 11ty i have to play with (one which does use pagecrypt, another which is its own plugin that encrypts). but as someone who DOES use obsidian, i will tuck that away safely......

https://sandtoken.com/writing/password-protecting-eleventy-pages/ talks about using pagecrypt with 11ty and https://github.com/jasonquintin/11ty-Password-Protect is a plugin for making password protected pages w/encryption (albeit idk how good it is, id have to test it)
