mayhaps ... id have to ask her to write some down or i need to actually note it down as she talks, tho a lot of the recipes are also very easily found online (tho i'd have to do my own comparison if it matches to what we make at home + translate if i need to)

I've used Akregator, the RSS feed viewer that ships with the KDE Plasma desktop. I neglected to set it back up when I reset my desktop though, and I have no idea what makes one better than another D:

i use rss guard on desktop and feedflow on mobile i have the ability to export my feeds from rss guard to feedflow but they also have the option to use online accounts for the rss feeds commafeed is a rss feed reader that's purely through an online account tho

I read somewhere that robots.txt doesnt protect you from the bots like that but idk. I figure that these things will just bypass the commands anyway. Its wild.

iirc robots.txt only works if the individual bot is designed to respect it

Bots/scrapers/crawlers make up the vast vast majority of all internet traffic sadly v_v

tbh thats why i like having monthly polls on my site. it kinda gives me some understanding of how many people visit
