Thank you for sharing your creative process! It is interesting. For me, the contrasting imagery of movement and stillness evokes a sense of longing, of appreciating the freedom of the bird in flight, yet at the same time desiring stability by having it perch nearby.

Random Story: A hummingbird flew a foot away from my face as I stood in my backyard one day. Such a majestic little fellow. And as we looked into each other's eyes, I realized that I was an orthinologist in another life. Haha! Happy Monday.

I have this dream of a site which looks very simple and text-based on the surface, but gets weirder as you go deeper. hyperlinks lead you to subpages which get more visual and experimental as you go...

Sounds good. On the surface you'd keep intact that disciplined and composed website look/content and online behavior that are actually praise worthy. But by providing hooks to rabbit holes that the curious ones/deviants among us actually crave to explore, things could really get... ahem... unexpected!

I've also been increasingly drawn toward the idea of simple 'boring' sites which become more immersive as you go, rather than the norm of sites which are immediately hyperstimulating... seems like a healthier web experience overall. Sort of related to both of your recent updates, but have you visited http://self-noise.net/? One of my favourite sites on the web, and I suspect you'll appreciate it too ;^)

I can identify. Thankfully, the sun is still there hidden behind a cloud, and its warmth feels so pleasant when it appears after a rain.
lovely song as always :^) and how you've been feeling definitely resonates with me as well. on a related note, just the other day while speaking with a friend, i described myself as a snail slowly making my way through a windstorm hehe but yeah, autumn is the season which replenishes me most!
