Yay!!!! So exciting that so many people are taking up pixel art!!! Atm I canβt think of any resources because I just wing it through lots and lots of practice. I started when I was 12 and then sort of gave up for many years so when I got back into it in 2024 it was back to square one. You need a good pixelling program & I always recommend aseprite, pixaki or MS paint only because I use those.There are lots of others
(Iβve still got lots to learn myself) so many talented pixel artists here in neocities!
@peachnuts i am using an open source fork of aesprite! it's soooo good ^u^ i'll be buying aesprite to support the og devs when i get paid because it's really helping a lot!
@lobstermandan just stay clear of unnecessary double pixel lines & corners, you want clean lines but good luck on your pixel journey i look forward to seeing your work hehe <3

So glad to hear that you're wanting to learn more! There are tons of resources (tutorials etc.) online. I'm working on my website to include a free small course soon on how to start, basic foundations of pixel art in general.
