Woot woot! Congrats! She seems smart / emotionally self-aware. I also second what chaoticdreamz said. Some of the best advice that I ever got about dating was a bit subtle in that it dealt more with understanding oneself (e.g.: personal standards/boundaries), rather than doing anything specific. If I were to try to summarize it:

1. Assuming that one is dating in order to find a long-term life partner, core values can only be uncovered through careful observation of behavior in various circumstances and through many dialogues about personal beliefs and experiences, NOT necessarily through physical affection. What will signal that you are compatible on a deep level?

2. While one should try to continually grow into their best self (e.g.: well-groomed, considerate, etc.), they should NOT try to become something that they are not in an attempt to impress others, no matter how much they like them. What can be reasonably sustained? And moreover, is the effort mutual?

...Sorry to go on and on, but those two ideas have saved me *a lot* of heartache when it comes to relationships and I wish that someone had told me them sooner. I hope the dates go well! ;-)
