Hey, thankyou, I like your site too :) Basically I just have a JavaScript file linked to my homepage which defines three variables for the message, mood and date. Then, in my homepage startup JavaScript file, I use those variables to set the innerText of each microblog element. As a little automation thing, I also have a python script on my computer which can update the microblog script by uploading the document

using Neocities' API. Then, for the black and green design, that's all just CSS, hope it helps :)
