I would suggest adding a background but keeping your content as it is since the emptiness on the sides seem, well empty. I think it looks cool either way tho but I suggest checking it out.

Hmm, maybe a custom mouse cursor? To add to bonesorangels, I think the dark background looks aesthetic, but to make it seem less empty, you could add an occasional red flash (like distant lightning almost) and that might have a cool vibe? Maybe a custom scrollbar or even just removing them entirely and coming up with another way to discern scrollable content, as the scrollbars stand out from the other theming.
