recently i watched “who TF did i marry” in its entirety and subsequently i’ve become fascinated with stories of pathological liars. i’m watching a video on tanya head right now. it really interests me how often pathological liars will lie their way into tight-knit communities (or in the case of who TF did i marry, straight up lying about being close with friends and family). it seems like a terrible curse.

it appears to me that pathological liars are desperate for community, and yet at the same time they inevitably drive these communities away when their lies are found out, leaving them all alone again.
I always find these types extremely fascinating. There's a few of them I check up on now and again to see what problems their lies are causing now, but this really has me needing to sit down and watch this whole thing.
