Today, we got a new computer monitor and I was able to fix a laptop that has an issue with certain keyboard keys not working properly. The increase brightness button had stopped working and I accidently made the screen go dark, but with the new monitor I was able to fix it. We have a new keyboard so that solves the issue with the dodgy keys but after over a decade of using laptop keyboards, I find a desk top keyboard

to be quite clunky (and LOUD!) to use. On the plus side, though, the monitor is much larger than the laptop screen so it reduces eye strain so I'll probably use the monitor and keyboard quite regularly. I look forward to playing LOTRO using the new monitor because with my diabetic retinopathy issues, it was starting to become difficult to play the game.
