we're going css naked! i need to strip (back) everything so i can start FRESH! also, removed the back-to-top button, because why code something that users can already do (https://alistapart.com/article/paint-the-picture-not-the-frame/)...

for some reason the serif font isn't working on firefox but is on chrome... (using @font-face with self-hosted font files; the other fonts that i'm doing the same with work fine on FF...)
