Today I learned about localStorage. So now I have the need to have theme selections on each page saved. Also persistent volume controls. Also also this would be a great way to keep track of which pages people have found hidden audios on, which I could then use to have a page with a master playlist of everything with like a progress tracker or something. Fuck, why am I giving myself another project

I’ve actually made it a core philosophy of my site to rely heavily on localStorage (and something called OPFS for larger files) while completely banning cookies. We’ve been conditioned to view data storage as an inherently malicious, tracking-heavy thing, but using local, client-side storage is quite the opposite. It's respectful. The data stays on their machine, under their control, purely to enhance the experience.

Your site actually inspired the idea! I didn't like the look of a blurry button, and realised later on that it has the unintended side effect of allowing for infinite colour variations

when everything is thought allready in the first instance - a patent is not a document that proofs u discovered something - it proofs u need self confidence for an obvious allready existing concept - u can not "find" things - they are all allready there

Updates: - Added gfx.html as a parent page to pixel.html, deadclubcity.html, and 0704.html. - Design of gfx.html is preliminary, but shows promise. More work needs to be done. - Updated all navigation links to reflect new parent page. - Revamped sitemap.html to reflect the new pages.
