Hi! An authentic Chinese here. It's really interesting to see a completely different sample of a social being and its thoughts organized in a completely different social condition.
I'm not very agreeing with what you think, based on my own experiences; but the 3d graphics parts are really cool! Keeps reminding me of some 90~00s visual programs, like `xscreensaver`.

when you live in a society that works for you, of course it is hard to come to the same conclusions i have. for some Americans this society does work for them. it does not work for me and i have no recourse. thanks, i try to sublimate my energy into art, am also a fan of JWZ.

i also think it is incredibly ironic that the ultimate goal for elite Chinese is to send their kids to American schools and park their assets in foreign countries. better to be an authentic Chinese than a fake.

thanks! there's a bunch of bands i've seen in small venues that aren't listed, it's def the scene i'm most familiar with. it started with listening to deftones "white pony" as a kid.
secrets made me irrationally happy, might be a case where I break my avoidance of JS as long as I ensure the fail state is solid

The penultimate paragraph is both beautiful and insightful. However, there is another view of God that is missing from it: The personal God who loves YOU specifically, the one who is always willing to guide you towards the constructive, but only to the extent that you allow it. Would it be so painful to say "Yes" to experiencing God's wisdom and forgiveness now in this moment?

Thank you! (ΛΆα΅ α΅ α΅ΛΆ) I like your website's design a lot as well. About metka (the markup language), it is very barebones (though I may extend it in the future) - roughly around 300 lines of C - the general idea being that it gives you some simple "commands" that get transformed into HTML structures. I have tried Pandoc in the past, but found it really slow on my older PCs lol

A lot of people view consciousness as an emergent property of the brain, but what does that really mean? What is emergence really? There are two types of emergence we have to consider: weak emergence and strong emergence. Weak emergence is your everyday emergence like how a song is composed of simpler tones or how computer parts operate from simpler hardware parts. Strong emergence on the other hand is just magic.
Fantastic read, really interesting. If you don't mind I will follow up because this stuff is so fun to think about. :)
