Dang,, i don't know why but i feel a bit bad from my lack of interest in Nintendo in general,, i used to be so devoted to all of their games a few years ago and now i don't even pay attention to the directs,, :/ if only i could afford to pay for their games.. some kind of hard melancholy hits me hard in the heart when i think about Nintendo.

Once you get on Steam Indies you never go back. Maybe you emulate a Wii game with a friend every now and then. But man you will never catch me giving money to a company that decided to be such a vampire about its IP and DMCAing their fan projects and game archivists. (Even Sega knows to not punch down on fanwork- they don't even make consoles anymore) Also they're leaning into theme park and Illumination Studios slop

i understand wanting to spread awareness for problematic things (i'd like to know if i'm following someone who isn't a good person!), but making a call out post in the form of a website is a bit silly to me. it's quite hard to take any of it seriously, especially when the discussion ends up devolving into insulting others rather than focusing on the actual issue and some of the "evidence" is a bit shoddy...

if its stuff for like, discord, u have to frequent a place enough that ppl get used to u existing and occasionally chime in on a topic u know about. u can just jump in vc's and not even do anything in there tbh. i used to just screenshare myself drawing or playing a game, ppl will put it on for background noise. the point is ppl getting used to you being there at first. getting over the anxiety of existing is hard.
