Big update that was mostly me changing a bunch of my pagess from using px to em so that when i (eventually) try to make this site play nice on mobile, it'll be easier to do. Please tell me if anything looks broken or weird!

Also, I now have a guestbook! And a status cafe, but it decided to be broken today, so.. we will see if it actually works later on. And finally got around to putting thoughts and opinions in most of my games & anime entries

Joined the gummy ring webring! And new wiki articles: Balloon boy hoax, ELIZA effect, If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?, Rotating locomotion in living systems. The latter three were kindly recommended to me in an email and I’m so glad they were!

An ocean page (with favorite sea creatures) sounds amazing. I imagine it having layers or depths that the user can go down or up in. Hidden crevices and crannies.

That's what I'm doing!! Or, trying to do. I want to have my creatures at correct depths/locations/niches but translating that to a small 2D screen is proving to be a headache... but I'll figure it out! and thank you for the comment, it's encouragement!! i hope it'll be cool too :D

this site is INCREDIBLE, I was giggling in delight the whole time. This is amazing??!!! Spent a fantastic few minutes playing with the midi program. The CD player! I've enjoyed poking around your computer so so much :D I can't imagine the effort that has gone into this, it's fantastic.

question of opinion: for the JFK shrine, should i continue to have "Return..." in the lower left corner to return to the bedroom, or should i remove it and just have the shrine be opened in a new tab when you click on the frame in the bedroom? hope this makes sense

NEW AREAS! The hallway can be accessed by the little door in the law office, which will lead you to the bedroom. The bedroom is an area for my wife. Eventually stuff from her will be there!

@katbots what are the chances!! I'm still looking for a job, I graduated before this summer- my partner lives in a small town in Noord Holland so there aren't that many opportunities (and I have to deal with some paperwork and health insurance stuff beforehand I think). Babel is so good, Poppy War was very interesting, but at times very tough to get through, and overall enthralled me a bit less, still a good read tho

ooh ouch yeah I imagine jobs can be hard to find if you're not in a city! I have put off having to think about jobs by doing a masters (ᵕ-ᴗ-) ah good luck with Dutch bureaucracy, I hope it goes smoothly! yeah I read poppy wars and enjoyed it, but never picked up the sequel, for no particular reason.I'll be happy if Babel is a smoother/more engrossing read!

@katbots yeah if I really can't find a good Biology job within a year or so, I'll go for a Masters, but I'm so burnt out from academia I don't want to consider it yet. I live like 30min on the train from Ams so absolutely I would love to! Rn I'm back in Spain for some doc appointments but I'm hoping to be back in the Netherlands by the end of October, I'll let you know!
