I hope everyone starts viewing the mobile responsiveness of their site not as burdens but as unexplored opportunities for creative mobile web design. I see the "phone chump" button on a site with a single column layout and its webmaster somehow found it simpler to script in a wall that prevents users with narrow viewports from entering than to learn about the % unit. it's 2026 year of the horse do not tolerate this!

Yea fr. I went to visit someone's site and they had it completely blocked off bc my screen is narrow. Like I don't care if it looks broken or janky on mobile, why intentionally make it entirely inaccessible? If you're gonna do all that I'm not gonna save your link to look at later on my computer. Not worth it.

Some aspects of some of my sites have pages that would not work on a phone in any universe, though. Like an enormous landscape-view interactive world map on one of them. I understand this view about most things though (there's no reason why a text-heavy site with blog posts, writing etc can't have a comfortable phone view).

I have this weird thing where I only ever write/revise the homepage when I'm in some sort of mania (ATTAINING ENLIGHTENMENT) which makes rereading whatever it is that I wrote on my homepage really difficult but I trust it. I believe it it's the truth then it probably still is now. you just need to have an ultra tapped in mind to get it which is hard because it has such a tiny time frame. which is also why my homepage
