Yeah, so I wrote a Gopher server last weekend to learn Go. Here is what I learned: 1. Gopher is more popular than I thought. 2. Gopher sucks and no one should use it for anything at all ever. 3. I'm using it. 4. It's completely pointless to use it. HTTP can do everything Gopher can, and much more. 5. That's why people use Gopher, including me. It's weird. Read the post if you care, which you shoudn't. I wouldn't.
