it was my font all along making shit format differently. good lord well at least i've sorted it thank you stack overflow

content is in and did it format correctly? NO! i don't know why my local files look different from my neocities files they are the same files hrrr grrr whatever. making my life difficult difficult lemon difficult.
editing offline but why is my font not displaying halp,, code is the same for the offline and online files. it's not reallly a problem considering everything is working on the actual site but it is good to know what my site will look like before i upload it to neocities.

trying to rewrite the entry for the vampire chronicles on the favourites page.. what are you even supposed to say about that series, assuming someone who doesn't know about it reads it. halp.

HOLY SITE RESKIN i'm so happy with how this looks (mostly). next step is adding sidebars to put Cool Stuff in, then get working on that damn suggestion box.
