I think that's fair to express. I've never understood people getting defensive about it. It's not like you're saying these people shouldn't be doing what they're doing on their own sites, but merely that you don't want it around you. Which honestly...same. Like yes, post what you want, but because you're putting it in the public eye does not exempt you from criticism or people expressing their opinions on it--
--warranted or not.

somehow people don't like the statement that we shouldn't encourage censorship but also accept that there will be people critiquing you and your work if there are upsetting topics. authors of stories with upsetting topics got hate mall all the time throughout history, even when the topics used are meant to encourage critical thinking in the narrative. that didn't convince them to stop writing.
@ghostingpen yeah thats what i mean. im against censorship but i am going to judge from my own perspective of people writing things i think sucks to read or be around. but thats my opinion and i dont want whole lives to be ruined over it. i just want my space to be respected at the bare minimum
