Sorry if it's a dumb question, but how did you, for lack of a better word, "realize" you have DID? Or did you know immediately from gaps in memory or other symptoms? And how has it developed as you've aged? Or has it remained stagnant?
@lines-and-shapes its not a dumb question, theres no dumb questions with this. honestly it was a very long process of acceptance but i think when i personally as an alter was coming around was when it became more obvious. there were others that were coming around when i became more active but i think it was me and more obviously different alters coming around.
