It's okay to use templates, others feedback, resources, and your own diy code, just make sure that the code is written in a consistent manner. This is more of a tip for myself heh.

Often with unstable foundation, when you add things, and keep adding, eventually it'll tumble and fall. Which is exactly what happened for me, I inconsistently tweaked the foundation so much that it well, malfunctioned.
