you know what's up. that's right. poo signs. my irl friends have learned about this passion project and are now observing and texting me images of poo signs :,-) also i finally linked it on my homepage. it's time to be loud and proud.
‘please refrain’ seems like such an odd thing to put on a sign like that.. like it implies intent or desire on the dog’s part. (also the third to last sign has thank you hidden in the grass!)
I like the "NO POOP AND PEE" signs. Implying that poop OR pee are OK. Just so long as it's not both at the same time, dogs may piss and shit there to their heart's content.
@wordsoup The two that specifically mention "urine" were from a very bougie neighborhood where I went on vacation, and I wish I'd had the chance to take more photos there because they were all Like That. There's a class analysis buried in here somewhere, I'm sure of it. Also GREAT catch on the Thank You tag!!
@oopsiedoodle I want to see the small claims court where cases of pooping AND peeing are litigated. How could the defense prove that there was only poop?? The only qualified expert witnesses would be other dogs. I sense a conflict of interest.
i have a neighbor who has like 10 of these spread throughout their yard, plus a LOUD alarm that beeps when you pass their house. they are on the same street as the park :-)
