It occurred to me last night that I should do a music page, so I've been having some fun with getting the layout done for that. I'll probably do the same for films and TV shows, BUT I don't watch a lot of the new stuff because most of it is unrealistic crime and thriller rubbish with unlikeable characters in them.

was getting no interaction on it. I decided to join neocities because there is a strong book community on here, (as I have other sites) but I doubt that it will grow much here because I don't show up anywhere.
I am currently reading Twelve Months, the latest Dresden Files book. I can understand why it was written, (and it is still well written, btw), but it is more like a series of vignettes or short stories that span the year after Peace Talks and Battleground, and plot-wise, it's not quite up to the usual standards as you would expect from a Dresden book. I don't really like the 'romance' plot with Lara, either. It's

It's a bit creepy, tbh, and it would get called out if the story's main protagonist was a women being forced into something like that. It will end up being a 3 star rating for me. why the books at the start of the year were consumed in multiple formats. I will be getting a new light so I don't have to struggle with the over head light in the bedroom (it strains my eyes too much) and I need a better set up for the hands free magnifier which I bought back in May - I need a something flat to lay books on because the magnifier distorts the text in the middle because books dip along the spine.
I also need a better chair/sofa to use it as well because it's too high for the bed. Unfortunately, I've not been able to use it as much as I wanted to.
