It's such a shame they had to use batteries. Somewhat kills the appeal of actual hardware, but I did notice that some reproduction carts have no batteries inside.

I have a repro pokemon green that saves without a battery but the cartridge and board quality isn't great. And at least batteries will always be available unlike special memory chips.

The background blur on the acorn photo looks amazing! My FD75 is not that good in this aspect, probably because it doesn't have enough image resolution. But I love how all Mavicas do depth of field.

"Bright spots over expose very easily though, sunny days are terrible for this camera." I absolutely low how old cameras handle it when the sun or sunrays are visible, DCP_0085.JPG is a perfect example.
