You should get a really ostentatious one, especially if it matches the vibe of absolutely nothing else in your home. Then you can enter the King of Faucets tournament. It's pretty exclusive, but I think you could talk your way into an invite.

You do have to take your countertop around to places, but the tournament organizers will give you a free utility trailer.

Going to dollar stores and seeing this kind of thing irl is a one of a kind experience. Last time I went to one I saw a minions t-shirt that said "LE BUDDIES" in big bold letters, an Elsa doll labelled "Diversity Princess", and in the card games section I found the sequel to Uno; Dos. Left the store disoriented and confused and feeling like I just visited another dimension, would recommend.

We had a couple of those in front of our house and a pair of house finches would nest in one. Unfortunately we did have to remove them because they were planted right above the sewer line that goes to the street and the roots kept growing into the pipes. Mourning Doves must be so widely spread beause they can tolerate human presence, a sad advantage that some creatures have and others don't.

I also think that while the arborvitae may be the tree of life, it's a pretty wretched landscaping plant. It just grows into an untameable blob after a while. (Also everyone around here pronounces it arbor vi-tee instead of arbor vee-tai. I know it's wrong but I say it that way to avoid looking like a snob.)
