we should push for usb-c ports on phones to be user-servicable. they have a max lifetime of like 4 years before they become so worn that charging becomes a fever dream and replacing them is impossible without specialised equipment. wireless charging is a fake solution to this problem and it only cements the anti-user stance of phone manufacturers.

yeah lmao. I think this is getting enforced in new devices via the EU though. even my new laptop I bought this year lets me replace my USB ports, and look who made it: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/MacBook+Neo+USB+Ports+Replacement/211011

Yup lack of repairibility sucks hard. Lack of parts, documentation and a lot of integration makes it a nightmare to repair even the most basic and simple things

firefox forces a world cup widget on you, especially on mobile. today it hit my pc so i hit it back in self-defense and now its gone. on mobile im safe because i use ironfox

uh kinda big update ish idk whatever logs got updated with my neocities posts, the not_found page got a slight visual update, and the music in doom.sh in cluster0 now loops (or at least should loop) perform a hard reset on cluster.html and logs.html
