Saturday February 4, 2023. I have uploaded five novel postcards. (1) 1955 Plaza de Amboage. (2) 1960 Plaza de Armas. (3) 1961 Admiral Churruca Obelisk. (4,5) 1960 + 1963 Plaza de España. All postcards are found in Chapter 5, "Glimpses of the Ferrol That Was."
Thursday February 2, 2023. I have replaced the "Ornamental fountain in the municipal park" (1964) postcard with a better one from the same year. There is also a new postcard of the "Post and Telegraph Office" (mind the year 1964; the 1960 postcard remains online). Both postcards are found in Chapter 5, "Glimpses of the Ferrol That Was."
Wednesday February 1, 2023. (i) Hyperlinked photograph of oil tanker "Almirante F. Moreno" (Table of Chapter 1, "The Shipyard"). (ii) Photograph of a pass to watch the 1958 launch of oil tanker "Durango" in SHIPYARD NEWS of Chapter 10, "Bazan Magazine for the Year 1958."
Monday January 30, 2023. I have inserted a date in the photograph heading March, 1955 (Chapter 7, "The Local News for the Year 1955").
Sunday January 29, 2023. I have replaced the photograph heading the month of December, 1961 (Chapter 13, "The Local News for the Year 1961"). The old photograph showed a blurred Christmas postage stamp. The crisp new photograph shows the Christmas tree put up at Town Hall square.
Saturday January 28, 2023. I have added one new photograph in the section THE DAY OF FERROL CITY AND COUNTY of Chapter 14, "Bazan Magazine for the Year 1962."
