started reading "i want you to be happy," by jem calder. almost immediately dropped it because of how awkward the characters are, but the way the author has incorporated the character's being on their phones all the time is making me stick around. i am surprised to see an author depicting characters who regularly pull out their phones, forget what they're doing, and worry about responding to texts too quickly.

thank u! i actually got my username from a song from one of my favorite bands, white rose movement!! in my interpretation of the song, love is a number means love can be bought and sold by celebrities, companies, etc. but its also just a line that stuck out to me, i cant really place why
