I'm surprised it didn't to be honest. I printed it out for people and they shared it among other groups. I think it even ended up in a... questionable evangelical homeschooling parents group on FB. I know it didn't go viral by today's standards, but it had a lot of fans from at least the east coast.

Please please please PLEASE pay attention to the content warnings on the first chapter if you plan on reading it. The story doesn't go into gory detail about a certain subject, but that subject is a pivotal plot point and lingers throughout the story.
