The umlaut letters problem: it's a character encoding issue. The browser does not know how to interpret a raw text file with special characters, so it guesses at the encoding. To display correctly, it requires a HTML document to tell it to use UTF-8.

I suppose I should start using the Neocities feed as well... So, I've completely changed my site layout once again. Hopefully this one sticks, third time's the charm? There are always little unforseen issues when I make major changes, one of which being umlaut letters in my text files are now not displaying properly. But, I do not currently have the energy to remedy this. I need a break.
