Guild Wars 2 released another piece of their last expansion- that's where I've been. There's a new legendary sword that I've decided I need, and after running the math on the materials and awards needed to get it... I need to slow down my grind and just part it here for a while instead of burning myself out on the game. Expect some stuff being updated tomorrow. 💖

Ugh I'm sorry some rando is accusing you of AI art. Making a callout post/account for an account with 100 followers is also ridiculous regardless. I found their evidence to be rather weak anyways. Anyways it was cool to see your wips! I think it's really cool to see other artists creative processes! The way you do pixel art reminds me of how I used to do oil paint! Detailing section by section.

i noticed it kind of resembles ai art, but the thing is that ai art is based off real art... like yall know that the reason ai looks like real art is because it gets trained off good art right?? besides ai is HORRIBLE at pixel art, id be shocked if ai was able to make coherent looking web assets without mixels

posting and keeping the wips up would be helpful for proof of creation! however, some people are just going to believe everything they hear no matter where the information came from... it pays to be able to think for yourself in a world where you can't believe everything you consume. ultimately, it's up to you to decide whether or not you want to post them!

Personally, I find them interesting! It's cool to learn about other people's process to create art. And maybe it even helps others to understand how to go about creating pixel art. At least I find step-by-steps helpful for that, even if I'm still terrible at it. But as @butteroncookies said, it's your choice. You have a great site with or without them, and I get it can be hard to maintain so many images long-term...

They also followed me, really hoping this kind of behaviour is not going to become the norm on neocities :( I think that posting wips would be interesting/helpful to others wanting to start making pixel art. However as @butteroncookies and @kolala have said the decision should be yours, I don’t think you should feel obligated to post them.
