someone in a server im in got majorly teased about their reddit (connected to their discord) to the point they ended up deleting their reddit account, one way to go by it certainly 😠it made me manually go thru and delete some of my comments there also... (fortunately not many, havent had much a presence there)

I only used Reddit for about a month and then deleted my account. I am interested in why folks are removing their data--AI scraping? Or privacy concerns?

The main reason I'm removing my presence is because I've been online stalked multiple times in my life. so if I leave a site I prefer to leave entirely! I'm not too worried about it right now but I just have these habits from those experiences. but yeah generally I think people are more concerned about data privacy now than they were before AI existed.

Wowowow, this was SUCH a cool read, thank you for sharing! I've only been to WDW a couple times, as a California native, but I loved Dinoland USA ;A; I loved seeing the display of pins and ephemera on the corkboard, too. Your zines are so cool!
