I need to start making my own collection of retro game stuff from archive.org, there's so much on there. There was a collection I found awhile back for anime books and video game books and there's some retro game manuals on there but it doesn't have everything. https://archive.org/details/manga_artbooks

I really like your photography, some of the old photos have this hazy purple or blue look to it that's really pretty.

Possibly a controversial move on Neocities, but I moved my Web Manifesto+Veganism pages to be available through About Me.The reason is my nav bar was always quite long and I felt the addition of those two posts really could be organised another way. I figured they fit under "About Me" because they encompass my values. New science page with info about dream coding: https://pixelglade.net/about/scihub.html

I wish there was more content on your site but you know, your site gave me a flashback to when the Pokerom CDs were released - tiny puzzle Pokemon CD games and the one I got had a Mew on it? Don't have it anymore, but thanks for the memory!

Thank you for the follow. I can relate to your thoughts on utopia timelessness, even if I can't be entirely sure we're thinking of the exact same thing. I would love to study art history, I only delve into it a little bit studying graphic design but I find myself voracious for information all the time. Following back!

Thank you for the follow. If you're having a bit of trouble with coding a website you might want to start with a simple resource. When I started I used the HTML Hobbyist tutorial since I felt like it was written in pretty clear language. https://www.htmlhobbyist.com/html/

Oh no problem! I'm usually happy when I see people trying to make their sites more user friendly, to work on mobile and adding alt text. It's the kind of thing where once you know how to do it you're more likely to apply it to other areas and it gets easier. So I like to encourage people. :-)

I uploaded new pixel art! This was a project I worked on for many weeks and I even got audio added to it. I learned a lot about Aseprite's animation features from this project, how to make dithering brushes in that program, lots of fun stuff. Take a look: https://pixelglade.net/artwork/pixelart.html

For the longest time I had not been able to load my background image (header of Pixel Glade) in Firefox unless I opened it in a private window. Just now, I noticed the width argument of the image was missing, even though the height was there. Now that's in place, the image actually loads now. Hope nobody else experienced this ---sweatdrop---

Hello, thank you for the message in my guestbook! I had a look at your site and I love the idea of including cocktails. I recently saw the film Hackers (1995) and so I was intrigued by you talking about the podcast Darknet Diaries, I'm gonna check it out - that, and 99% Invisible looks interesting too - thanks for the recommendation. :)
