Hi! What's up? I don't have a website button but I plan on making one. The site's way more updated on my computer and it's super out of date here. I planned on updating here when everything looks finished to me. But I might do it anyway, I'm just not sure what to do

Updating on the last post, it's been a couple days but I still can't visit the Tails Archive. So Lycros Tripod is where that old version of the website was hosted and I've been hearing online about others having problems on there + people being surprised they still host websites! I've tried going to other websites on there, some I couldn't connect to, some I could. There might be a change where it'll come back online

- But I'm just not sure at this point. It could just be server problems but I also got a feeling they might be just shutting down? I'm thinking that I'm already too late to it all. It's sad but oh well, you can't save everything.... Wow there's a lot to talk about!

And wow I spelt Lycos wrong! Their company also owns Angelfire which is a another website hosting place, didn't know they had two web hosting services? It's just a thought but if they are shutting down, it makes me think they might also shut down Angelfire..... and that be would be really sad. So I'd like to explore websites on there and maybe talk about 'em on internet adventures!

Going back to the Tails Archive, there's actually another website I've come across before: https://www.tailsarchive.com And at first I thought this was a completely different 'site but they have a page with links and a couple of them are to the original Tails Archive that I know! Though their website is in spanish, they said something like "Link to the original website for memories!". I'm not sure if they're the -

Though I am actually updating it, I've been on my computer instead of Neocities. I haven't updated it here because I don't want it to be broken for anyone + I want it to be better than it was before..... especially how it is right now -

I always talk about things in the updates of my site but since it's not been updated on here.... in a really long time. Maybe I'll say something here every once in a while? So, I wanted to archive an old website I saw called "The Tails Archive". I talked about it in Internet Adventures but I don't think I've updated the website about it here. It still had an old version of the website that was still up to this day! -

- And I've been telling myself that I want to archive it, I might start a web archive on this 'site for fun. But I went to check on it today and...... the page doesn't load.... at all..... I hope it's not gone. If it is, it's really sad. I know that Wayback Machine almost always has websites archived but with this one, not much of it has. I'd always think about archiving it every once in a while because I had the fear of one day, this website might just disappear....... It could just be down right now but the provider for the 'site is up. I hope this just isn't that day.... but it could be. I can't save everything, no one can. But I thought it would've been great because it's had things that've never been archived

Hi! I'm curious about how the pages load on your site? When you click on a link, it immediately updates that part of the page instead of how it normally refreshes everything on the page before it loads the next one. I've been dealing with that and I figured it out by putting the navigation on my site on an iframe instead of the main page. But how did you do it? I'm not sure if you used Javascript?

Hi! My site pages are currently normal HTML pages and don't make use of frames, JavaScript or special techniques for page loading. The Static Ultra project and site at https://scott2.neocities.org/static-ultra/ does do that however, and iirc it boils down to a combo of parsing the URL, URL rewriting, xmlHttpRequest and innerHTML. Nah don't worry, I meant this one! But thank you so much! I got really confused about all of this. That's really really good that you got all of this running without any Javascript. Not saying JS is bad, don't get me wrong. I like keeping things as light-weight as possible

I was actually planning on using your Static Ultra project for my site at one point, but it goes by a specific layout.... and I have one already. But I still think it's great and for sure it'd help a lot of people make a website on here

My site as of right now isn't updated on here, it's way more updated on my computer. I plan on updating it in the future. But instead of using an iframe for the pages, I switched it over to using the navigation as a frame. But I want to look into this eventually -

Oh I got that wrong on "without any javascript", you don't use javascript or special techniques like you said for the part of loading the page. I think I said that the wrong way, you can correct me

I'm really thinking about starting Sonic Adventure Zone on another Neocities, was going to originally put it on my site but I think the url would get pretty long. And I think it'll be better as it's own site. I don't always update on here but I really want to start doing more on this site!

@wackyworkbench Hi Wacky, if that's what I call you? I don't know what name you go by? I know your name just as the sonic stage. I get what you mean, I don't want to be making it something I have to do. It's a side project to me? I don't know what I'd call it but it's just something I want to make for fun. Same with the other zones, but I really think this one just fits as it's own site. Thanks for supporting me

Now that's a website right there! I like your art style, that's a SUPER amount of expression! I like the low-polygonal style with the models and the art and even the ones that are more simple. You got that lost expression from the 2000s, I like you doing takes on how advertisements were back then. I've been starting what I want to do and you're inspiring me!
