"OpenBooks 5 was an attempt at a fully modern website - however it was met with harsh backlash over the Neocities userbase at the time. If posted today, OpenBooks 5 probably wouldn't be received as poorly. It was a complete redesign from the ground up, and parts of it even formed the later OpenBooks 8 Series."

transgender as normal is debatable, but feeling like a woman/man trapped in a man's/woman's body is not normal. like me, im schizoaffective, thats not normal. Wanting to butcher your body just because you have an idea that maybe you were supposed to be born a woman/man is just crazy. i thought there was a big "body positivity" movement going on anyway.
