around 100 pages can range from interesting experiment to writer-defining, 200 pages is when you have something to stay but not enough to warrant overstaying your welcome, more than 300 and it better be a magnum opus worthy of the Library of Babel

this youtube binge is going wonderful. i'm learning what a porridge hawker is from this kid that dropped out at 16 in japan. it's making me think of shintoism and it's focus on hard labor especially at a young age
